Strikers and finishing camp

Newport F.C will be offering a strikers and finishing camp during the winter break to prepare teams for the state cup . The camp will be held at Newport Hills Park from December 20th through the 23rd. The camps focus will be teaching players how to create opportunities to score in the attacking third of the field . Congratulations BU18 Spartans!

The Newport FC Spartans, who are having a trying season due to injuries and shortage of players, went into the Cranberry Cup over the Thanksgiving weekend with 12 available players. The Spartans dominated play in all 3 group stage games during the tournament with the following results – gm 1 0-0 tie vs NSC Revolution, gm 2 3-0 win over Sliver Lake FC and a gutsy 1-1 tie in gm 3 with only 10 available players vs NSC Fusion.
