2014 Financial Aid Policy

Newport Youth Soccer Club is dedicated to assisting families with limited financial means participate in both our Recreational and Select soccer development programs.

Financial aid is provided in the form of either reduced program fees at the start of the season and/or a payment plan that stretches the financial outlay over the season. We ask that parents and/or players commit to volunteering their time with the club to assist us in ways that do not require a financial outlay. Please note that there are other expenses that are not covered by the financial aid program, for example: uniforms, tournament fees, and camp fees.

The Board of Directors will evaluate every application for financial aid and award scholarships from our financial aid pool based on a number of factors including:
- The total number of players requesting financial aid,
- The financial situation of each family, and
- The history of the player and the family with our club
